Is the compression and archiving of digital images (still and video) a need ?
If "yes" - we have products based on the new JPEG2000 compression
standard, and we are looking for people who can exploit this technology.
Particularly:
1) Image processing businesses needing to store large quantities of
(probably) still images - commercial photographers; digital image
processors (e.g: catalogue businesses); etc
2) NHS units - needing to store large quantities of (say) MRI scans,
X-rays, maybe dentists as well.
this next generation compression technology massively reduces storeage volumes, and enables web
transfer of stored images previously too large for email messaging.
if this is of interest ,have contact with potential users, or know of
people struggling to arrange image storeage volumes and/or image
transfer over IP, please contact
