The Government has called Lancaster University "the UK's Centre of ICT Excellence" following the completion of an InfoLab21 project to install wireless broadband in a town in the Ukraine.

InfoLab21 has launched an online JobShop, which puts computer-savvy students and businesses in touch, keeping much-needed skills in the region.

A new website www.lcictclusters.org has been created by Lancaster University’s InfoLab21 and Business Link Northwest to provide a unique central resource for the region’s technology led businesses.
