The Health Tech Hub (the industry/ academic platform for the Medical Sector) is pleased to announce that bookings can now be taken for the Medical Innovation Showcase Conference on Monday June 8th 2009. All bookings must be made on-line at:  www.healthtechhub.co.uk

This one-day conference will cover the following topics in the morning session:

Collaborative Research and Development Grants to Support Medical Innovations: FP7 and Technology Strategy Board Funding (2)
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (3)
Rapid Manufacturing in Healthcare (4)
Promoting Health through Sustainable Procurement: 'Healthy Business' in the North West NHS (5)
In the afternoon, 20 firms will be invited to provide a '2 minute pitch' on their product to the audience, followed by the opportunity to network.

Firms are invited to set up an exhibition stand (a fee of £150 applies, with set up on Friday 5th June from 2pm to 4 pm) for which tables will be provided.

Elevator Pitches: Please note that demand is likely to be high and all requests to take part in the 'elevator pitch' session must be received by the closing date of the 15th May 2009, 5pm. Those seeking a 'pitch slot' are therefore advised to book early.
